Brand- Chhaa Jaa

Girl Effect is a creative non-profit – experts in media, mobile, brand and international development – working where girls are marginalized and vulnerable. They build youth brands and mobile platforms that millions of girls and boys love and interact with. In India, Girl Effect has come up with a brand called Chaa Jaa which aims at speaking to these girls in their lingo and trying to invoke positive behavioral changes through their engagement on digital platforms.

I work for Chhaa Jaa as a Social Media Executive Writer cum Moderator. My role includes handling Content Strategy for Social Media for the brand i.e conceptualization, copywriting, ideation and execution of all content and promos for Social Media. Scheduling and managing all posts and platforms on the front and back end, as well as moderating comments and user feedback alongside maintaining channel hygiene. Apart from these, my secondary objectives include supervising edits, creatives, and promos while lending a helping hand on the sets.

Quirky copies

Keeping the target group in mind, the brand tonality needed to be quirky, friendly and dispensing information regarding their sexual and reproductive health in a very non-preachy manner. The copies were written with that lens.

Illustration posts

Provided a narrative to posts that are supported strongly with engaging visuals. The aim was to make the characters relatable and real. 

Vocabulary posts

Created almost 50 vocabulary piece to increase awareness around generic SRH (Sexual and reproductive health) keywords. 

Infographics

Infographics were created to explain concepts through illustrations and the least amount of copy.
